Showse Park Work Continues

Steps have begun to make the much-anticipated Health and Fitness Trail at Showse Park a reality.   The Parks Department tilled and prepped the area for ADT Construction, Inc. to excavate the trail.  This work will be followed by a base fabric and then 4" of repurposed street millings and ADT will go back in and add 2 additional inches of screened asphalt to finish off the trails. 

Besides repurposing the street millings for the trails, dirt taken from the paths will be used throughout the park for grading and to also help level the mound set to be the future playground.
