Each year, The City of Vermilion Water Treatment Plant publishes A Consumer Confidence Report. The Consumer Confidence Report, sometimes called an “Annual Drinking Water Quality Report,” summarizes information about the local drinking water for the previous year.

Lorain County Solid Waste Management

Lorain County Solid Waste Management provides its services for both Lorain and Erie County Residents in Vermilion.

No matter where you live within Lorain County, the same five core items go into your curbside recycling bin: Cans, Cartons, Glass, Paper/Boxes, and Plastic Bottles/Jugs. Reduce your trash when you combine only these five items in your curbside recycling.

A new partnership is allowing clothing, bedding, towels and curtains to be dropped off.
